Welcome to Sacred Plants Putumayo. By booking a retreat, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. General Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern the participation in retreats, ceremonies, and eco-tourism experiences offered by Sacred Plants Putumayo. By booking a retreat, you acknowledge that:
✅ You have been fully informed about the nature of the experiences provided.
✅ You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in our activities.
✅ You accept full responsibility for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being during the retreat.
✅ You have signed the Responsibility Form, releasing Sacred Plants Putumayo from liability.

💡 If you have any doubts about your ability to participate, we strongly advise consulting with a medical professional before booking.

2. Participant Responsibility & Health Considerations

Sacred Plants Putumayo provides spiritual and wellness experiences, but these are not medical treatments. Before attending, participants must:
✔ Be physically and mentally fit to engage in ceremonies and nature activities.
✔ Disclose any relevant health conditions (e.g., heart issues, epilepsy, severe mental health disorders).
✔ Refrain from medications that interact with ancestral medicine (e.g., antidepressants, MAOIs).
✔ Follow preparation guidelines, including dietary restrictions and abstaining from drugs/alcohol before the retreat.

⚠ We reserve the right to deny participation to anyone we believe may be at risk or who does not meet safety requirements.

3. Payment & Booking Policy

🔹 A €200 deposit is required to secure your reservation.
🔹 The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival or as per the agreed schedule.
🔹 Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash, or international credit card (+6% fee).

📌 Your reservation is confirmed once we receive the deposit and you sign the Responsibility Form.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans may change. Our refund policy is as follows:

✔ Cancellations made at least 15 days before the retreat start date: Full refund of the €200 deposit.
❌ Cancellations made less than 15 days before the retreat start date: Deposit is non-refundable due to the difficulty of filling your reserved spot on short notice.

💡 If you cannot attend, you may transfer your booking to another person (with prior approval) or reschedule for a later retreat date.

5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

By participating in any of our retreats, you acknowledge and accept that:
✔ Activities involve personal risk, including the use of plant medicine and exposure to natural environments.
✔ You voluntarily assume all risks, including physical, psychological, and emotional effects.
✔ Sacred Plants Putumayo and its facilitators are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or adverse reactions.
✔ You release Sacred Plants Putumayo from all legal claims related to your participation.

📌 All participants must sign a Responsibility Form before the retreat begins. Without this, participation will not be allowed.

6. Code of Conduct

To maintain a safe and respectful retreat environment, all participants must:
✅ Follow the guidance of facilitators and respect indigenous traditions.
✅ Treat others with kindness and confidentiality.
✅ Abstain from alcohol and recreational drugs before and during the retreat.
✅ Respect the privacy and personal space of other participants.

❌ Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the retreat without a refund.

7. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

Sacred Plants Putumayo is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes due to:

Natural disasters, severe weather, or road closures.
Political or social unrest.
Illnesses affecting facilitators.

📌 In such cases, we will reschedule your retreat or offer a credit for future use.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy and comply with GDPR regulations. By booking a retreat, you consent to:
✔ The secure collection and storage of your personal data.
✔ Receiving emails regarding booking confirmations, retreat preparation, and follow-ups.
✔ Optional marketing emails (only if you opt-in).

9. Changes to These Terms

Sacred Plants Putumayo reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued participation implies acceptance.
