At Sacred Plants Putumayo, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring changes to your travel plans. Our Refund Policy ensures transparency while maintaining fairness for both participants and our team.
1. General Refund Policy
We offer refunds for retreat bookings based on the following conditions:
✔ Cancellations made at least 15 days before the retreat start date: Full refund of the €200 deposit.
❌ Cancellations made less than 15 days before the retreat start date: Deposit is non-refundable due to the difficulty of finding a replacement guest on short notice.
📌 Please note: The refund applies only to the deposit; any additional payments made will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
2. Rescheduling & Transfer Options
If you cannot attend your scheduled retreat but notify us at least 15 days before the start date, you may choose one of the following options:
🔹 Reschedule to a future retreat (valid for up to 12 months).
🔹 Transfer your booking to another participant (subject to approval).
💡 Rescheduling is subject to availability and may involve price adjustments if rates change.
3. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days after receiving a written request.

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (bank transfer, credit card, or cash).

For international transactions, any bank fees or currency exchange differences will be deducted from the refund amount.
4. Exceptions to Refund Policy
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
❌ Failure to attend the retreat without prior notice ("No-show").
❌ Leaving the retreat early due to personal reasons.
❌ Being removed from the retreat due to violation of our Terms & Conditions (e.g., unsafe or disruptive behavior).
❌ Cancellations due to personal health conditions that were not disclosed during booking.
5. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)
In cases of natural disasters, extreme weather, political unrest, or unexpected facilitator unavailability, we will offer the following:
✔ Rescheduling your retreat to a later date.
✔ Credit towards a future retreat (valid for up to 12 months).
Refunds in such cases will be handled at our discretion, considering operational costs already incurred.
