Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where everyone can access information, book services, and fully participate in our offerings.
1. Website Accessibility

✔ Following WCAG 2.1 Guidelines – Our website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 to ensure readability, navigability, and usability for all visitors.
✔ Providing Alternative Text – Images and non-text elements include alt text for screen readers.

💡 Need Assistance? If you experience any difficulties accessing our website, please contact us at info@sacredplantsputumayo.com for support.
2. Physical Accessibility at Our Retreats
Our retreats and experiences take place in natural environments, including forests, mountains, and rivers. While we aim to accommodate all participants, some locations may have physical limitations due to rugged terrain.
Accessible Features:
✅ Private Rooms Available – Guests can book private accommodations at Hostal Luna Llena for privacy and comfort.
✅ Personalized Assistance – Upon request, we provide support for mobility assistance during ceremonies and activities.
✅ Customizable Retreat Options – If a participant requires modifications, we strive to adapt activities based on individual needs.
Potential Limitations:
⚠ Uneven Terrain – Certain locations, such as waterfalls and canyons, may not be wheelchair accessible.
⚠ Remote Locations – Some ceremonies and eco-tourism sites require walking on unpaved trails.
⚠ Limited Medical Facilities – While we provide basic first aid and medical assistance insurance, emergency services may have delayed response times in remote areas.
📌 Need Special Accommodations? Please inform us at least 14 days before your arrival so we can assess how best to support your needs.
3. Accessibility for Ancestral Ceremonies
We strive to make our Yagé (Ayahuasca), Kambo 🐸, and Cacao ceremonies as inclusive as possible. However, due to the physical and psychological effects of these medicines, certain restrictions may apply.
Considerations for Participants with Disabilities:
✔ Visual & Hearing Impairments – We provide verbal guidance and non-verbal cues during ceremonies. Participants can bring a support person if needed.
✔ Mobility Restrictions – Ceremonies are typically seated, and we can arrange alternative seating for those with mobility challenges.
✔ Mental Health Considerations – If you have a history of severe mental health conditions, we recommend consulting a medical professional before participating.
💡 Need Additional Support? Contact us before booking to discuss how we can make your experience as comfortable as possible.
4. Service Animals & Assistance Companions
We recognize the importance of service animals and assistance companions for guests with disabilities. However, due to the sensitivity of ancestral medicine ceremonies, we may have certain restrictions:
✔ Service animals are allowed in lodging and communal areas.
⚠ Ceremonies may not permit animals due to traditional spiritual guidelines. Alternative arrangements may be discussed.
📩 For inquiries about service animals, please contact us before booking to ensure proper accommodations.
5. Feedback & Continuous Improvement
